Our beginning
Founded by a perfumer who first studied rooms, not flowers.
Éloïse Maren trained in set design before studying perfumery in Grasse. Her early notebooks paired floor plans with material lists: dust, wet wool, stage wood, cold glass. MÉMOIRE grew from the belief that scent can construct a space more completely than an image.
The method
Begin with
an atmosphere.
We write in temperature, distance, texture and light before naming a single ingredient. Formula comes later—as a way to make the invisible inhabitable.
